Emaan Pirzada's work explores memory, absence, family and the emotional significance of familiar spaces. Her practice brings together drawing, painting and transferred imagery to create intimate environments that feel caught somewhere between lived experience and recollection.
Her work takes this idea into a more personal and intimate space, using domestic environments as a way of remembering someone who is no longer present. Across the collection, ordinary places become vessels for memory, allowing what remains of a person, a home or a moment to continue telling its story.
