About
Two clusters of domestic architecture emerge from an expansive field of yellow, appearing almost suspended between reality and recollection. Carefully drawn windows, doorways and household details are interrupted by loose, gestural marks, giving the structures a sense of incompleteness—as though parts of the scene have faded with time.
The generous space between them becomes just as important as the buildings themselves, creating a feeling of distance, absence and the quiet spaces that exist between memories.
The open composition gives the work a sense of quiet suspension, as though these structures exist somewhere between a remembered place and an imagined one. Subtle details invite the eye to linger, revealing traces of everyday life within an otherwise sparse landscape. In this space, what is absent becomes as meaningful as what is present, leaving the viewer to consider what has been lost, carried forward, or simply left behind.
