About
A cascade of blue-green and white gives Tears Too its emotional pull, with vertical strokes descending through layers of teal and indigo. The marks suggest rain, memory and grief, but the painting never becomes completely dark.
Instead, pale areas of light emerge through the deeper colours, creating a feeling of sorrow that remains fluid rather than fixed. It is a quietly moving work in which brightness is woven into the darkness rather than placed outside it.
