Inner Evolution was never about reaching a destination. I followed the painting until it no longer asked anything of me. At that moment, I understood it was complete. Looking back, I see this work as a reflection of the quiet changes that happen within us—changes we rarely notice while they are unfolding but recognize once they have become part of who we are.

Spanning an expansive horizontal canvas, Inner Evolution feels less like a fixed image and more like a journey unfolding across the surface. Organic forms emerge, recede and transform through layers of colour, creating a sense of continuous movement without suggesting a single beginning or end. The scale gives these forms room to breathe, allowing the eye to travel through the painting rather than settle in one place.

At its heart, the work considers transformation as something gradual rather than dramatic. Wroniak's intuitive process is particularly visible here: the painting seems to have arrived at its final state through listening and responding rather than forcing an outcome. It speaks to the subtle changes that shape us over time—the shifts we may only recognise once we look back and realise we are no longer quite who we were.
