Her naturalistic presence feels almost tangible against the highly constructed world around her, creating a compelling contrast between the recognisable human figure and an environment that seems to exist somewhere between dream, science and imagination.

Walker describes the figure as awakening from a period of dream-filled rest, startled by the possibility that the aliens are already reading her mind.
