For centuries horses have been a symbol of war, prosperity & freedom. So far the year of the horse suggests only one of the three may be on the horizon yet this adorned horse leaps forward. Faux Ben-Day dots are employed in the shadows and highlights to add texture and reference the cowboy comic books from Max's childhood. Loose & unregistered stenciled outlines add movement and energy to the horse and rider.
