ART IN THE WORKPLACE
The benefits
Art does more than fill walls. Thoughtfully chosen work can transform how a space feels and how people perform within it.
A considered art programme enhances your workplace visually while keeping it dynamic. Rotating works allow your environment to evolve, ensuring it never feels static or dated.
Studies consistently highlight the positive impact of art in professional settings. Exposure to art has been shown to stimulate creative thinking, encourage curiosity, and improve the recognition of complexity and variation - all essential for problem-solving and original thinking.
Art in the workplace is also linked to:
- Increased efficiency and higher levels of work satisfaction
- Improved learning, dialogue, and personal connection between team members
- Stronger collaboration, as shared artworks invite conversation and perspective-sharing
- Reduced stress, with greater feelings of calm, restoration, and wellbeing
- Deeper connection to organisational culture when art aligns with a brand’s values and identity
When art reflects your ethos, it becomes part of how your people connect to the organisation - visually, emotionally, and culturally.

Who is art rental suitable for?
Our art rental service is suitable for spaces of all sizes - from small studios to large offices, hospitality venues, showrooms, and commercial environments looking to elevate their space without committing to permanent acquisitions.
How long is the rental period?
Artworks are rented on a minimum six-month agreement, billed quarterly in advance. After six months, you may refresh your selection or continue with the same works.
Is art rental tax-deductible?
Yes. For corporate clients, artwork rental is generally tax-deductible. We recommend confirming with your accountant for your specific circumstances.
How are artworks selected?
You can leave the curation entirely to us, or collaborate with your team on the final selection. Involving employees often increases engagement and connection with the work.
Can we change or rotate the artworks?
Yes. Clients may choose to refresh their artworks after the initial six-month period, keeping the space feeling considered and evolving.
Is delivery and installation included?
Yes. Delivery and installation are included in the rental cost and carried out on an agreed date using standard fixings, unless specialist installation is required.
What happens when the artworks are removed?
Making good is included. This covers filling, sanding, and repainting where required. Clients are responsible for supplying the correct paint shades if needed.
Who is responsible for insurance?
KELLART provides public and product liability insurance up to £5m. Insurance for the artworks themselves - including cover for fire, theft, or damage - remains the client’s responsibility and is typically covered by existing business contents insurance. Liability cover becomes void if artworks are moved by employees. If repositioning is needed, please contact the gallery and we will arrange this for you.
Can artworks be moved once installed?
For insurance reasons, artworks should not be moved by staff. If changes are needed, we’re happy to assist.
Do you offer engagement or team activities around the artwork?
Yes. Many of our artists offer bespoke creative workshops and team-building sessions connected to the artworks on display. These can be arranged separately.
What happens if we decide to buy an artwork?
If you fall in love with a piece, we’re happy to discuss purchase options and next steps.
